Below is a brief summary of my experience throughout my career to date. If you have any questions feel free to reach out using any of the options in the footer of each page.


Scrum Master at Arm

January 2019 - Present

Overview of Role

• Scrum Master working with several teams including the Legal Services - Contract Automation and Management Team, the Customer Relationship Management team and the People Systems team responsible for improving the HRIS systems at arm.
• Worked with several different technologies and set up process and controls to enable delivery as well as establishing environments management, continuous integration, scrum ceremonies and building relationships outside the team to enable better quality delivery.
• Assisted with the design and implementation of more automated reporting alongside the Delivery Management Office to give Scrum Masters back their time to focus on supporting their teams.
• Worked with and assisted the delivery and setup of a variety of Legal Technologies including Contract Express, SharePoint Online (implemented as a DMS), Seal and DocuSign.
• Most recently I’ve also fulfilled an acting role as a Release Train Engineer (essentially a SAFe Programme Manager) assisting teams with winding down ready for new technologies to be setup to replace the deprecated platforms.

Scrum Team: Contract Automation and Management

Key Achievement: The development and release of contraction automation work to significantly reduce the manual Legally Supported Sales process.
• Led a team responsible for implementing legal technology and process improvements to the legally supported sales process.
• Assisted in the design and set up of several new product teams to assist in the delivery of a large volume of work that one of the ARTs was struggling with.

Scrum Team: Customer Relationship Management

Key Achievement: Restructured the large (30 member) team into 3 smaller teams to allow more focus on the business outcomes and significantly reduce the time to deliver.
• Worked with the business to help them understand how they were slowing down the teams ability to deliver.

Senior Technology Consultant at North Highland

January 2014 - December 2018

Overview of Role

• Worked in a number of roles at North Highland both in the Business Analysis capability and moving into a Technology Consulting role specialising in Agile Software Delivery with a particular focus on Scrum.
• Currently a Senior Technology Consultant with a proven track record of client satisfaction, novel approaches to complex problems and a strong desire to develop myself and the business.
• Winner of a competition for innovation and granted funding for developing a lightweight web based application for businesses (including the client I was working for at the time) to share business process diagrams across their organisations using a web browser.

Client: O2 - September 2018 - December 2018

• Bid manager for the renwewal of North Highland's managed service business analysis and project management deal with Telefonica, the largest deal that North Highland was to do that year.
• Working with North Highland's UK and Worldwide Leadership team to structure the bid and propose commercial models, value add services and details of our offerings to the Telefonica UK IT Leadership team.

Client: Arm - April 2017 - September 2018

• Working with Arm as a Scrum Master and agile coach working with multiple product teams across 2 agile release trains (large programmes with multiple product teams) and different areas of the business.
• Assisted in the design and set up of several new product teams to assist in the delivery of a large volume of work that one of the ARTs was struggling with.
• Assisted with the design and implementation of more automated reporting alongside the Delivery Management Office to give Scrum Masters back their time to focus on supporting their teams.
• Coached several new product owners from having no knowledge of Scrum or SAFe to become raving fans of both frameworks.
• Worked with business stakeholders up to director level to help them understand timescales for delivery based on a capacity model rather than imposing deadlines onto the team.

Client: Tesco Mobile - November 2014 - April 2017

• Identified an opportunity and put myself forward for a role at Tesco Mobile, a new client.
• Worked on a number of projects utilising various different skills including process improvement, UX and CX design, business analysis, solution design amongst others and trusted by the client to advise on a number of different projects.
• Built strong lasting relationships stakeholders such as Steve Gannon, Head of Architecture and Design quote "Would work with him again and recommend him".
• Challenged conventional thinking and encouraged the uptake of user stories versus requirements and exploring the potential of adopting more agile practices with a focus on returning business benefit incrementally and failing faster.
• Demonstrated aptitude for business development by identifying additional opportunities at Tesco Mobile for both Delivery Services and Consulting contributing to the bottom line.
• Worked with a wide range of projects and with every level of stakeholder from the CEO to front line staff in stores.
• Introduced business process mapping and management (as well as a tool to manage them) as an approach to Tesco Mobile which has now become standard practice and the go to method of presenting complex practices.
• Proactively assisted Consulting colleagues in their engagements on-site with guidance on approach, stakeholder management and existing ways of working

Client: Telefonica UK (O2) - September 2014 - November 2014

• Worked simultaneously on 2 complex projects, 1 for introducing a salary sacrifice offering to businesses for their customers to purchase mobile phones, the other a social media based CRM platform called tweetserve.
• Converted difficult stakeholders into raving fans by convincing them of the possibility of Salary Sacrifice by identifying and sharing HMRC guidelines on benefits in kind and business use devices.
• After my initial 2 projects were unexpectedly ended I was moved on to a telecoms based project with the MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operators) Team, shared data at Tesco Mobile

IT Business Analyst/Project Manager at Game Retail Ltd

July 2012 - January 2014

Overview of Role

• Responsible for end to end project delivery of the Stores Wi-Fi Project, including managing the relationship with BT. The project was nominated for ‘Best Project Implementation’ at the 2013 Retail Week Technology Awards for delivering 4 months ahead of schedule.
• Responsible for financial aspects of assigned projects including writing business cases and raising funding, managing budgets, cost tracking etc.
• Part of a Head Office Focus Group of former retail store employees providing a stores view into various projects.
• Lead requirements capture for the implementation and enhancement of a Supply Chain forecasting and replenishment system - Integration of carrier aggregation system into existing logistics infrastructure.
• Working closely with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and store operational requirements for the supply of digital downloads online and in store.
• Managing the content and rollout of regular EPOS (till) releases, including gathering requirements of the rapidly evolving business
• Analysing suggested improvements and prioritising new functionality for development
• Working directly with project stakeholders from project inception through to defining requirements, writing Functional Specifications and delivering Solutions
• Trusted by the business as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the BA Team, managing BA resource requests, and project requests
• Responsible for documenting the ways of working, and setting up a business analyst portal for use by the BA Team as a whole

• Identified several flaws in the universities existing
process for appealing to Alumni for funding and proposed
and developed a solution.
